A Hamptons wedding in Sag Harbor and East Hampton, NY.
Allison and Matt's wedding day had the kind of unhurried warmth that the Hamptons does best in late May — before the summer crowds arrive and the city follows. It started the way the best wedding mornings do: at the bride's family home in Sag Harbor, surrounded by her mom, her sister, and her closest friends. When Matt saw her for the first time on the porch, he teared up a little. Then he smiled the biggest smile. That was all you needed to know about the two of them.
The celebration moved to Si Si in East Hampton — a Mediterranean restaurant on a resort-like property that felt both elevated and completely relaxed at the same time. Handpainted shells marked each guest's seat, handmade pots held the florals, and just as Allison and Matt sat down for dinner, the sun came out. We slipped outside for a few minutes.
