NYC Courthouse Weddings
Weddings of all sizes deserve great photos. While still on my bucket list to photograph a wedding of 100+, I have been loving photographing small intimate ceremonies at the iconic Manhattan courthouse.
From the iconic benches to the iconic green iron doors, the NYC courthouse never ceases to be a wonderful venue for wedding photos.
And I would be remiss to mention that for whatever reason inside of the courthouse happens to also be a great backdrop for detail shots.
My ideal courthouse wedding run of show:
- Commuting to the courthouse - let me meet you at your apartment and we can snag getting ready photos and photos en route to the ceremony.
- Ceremony photos - we will capture photos throughout the process of checking in, signing paperwork, waiting for the civil ceremony to begin, and of course through the short but sweet ceremony.
- The grand exit - whether your family is bringing confetti, flower petals, or birdseed, I will make sure to capture your exit as your family cheers for you.
- Portraits - I have a few favorite spots in the surrounding area that lend itself to some lovely portraits.
